46^th. Avenue – Drainage Improvements PER

The project was a Preliminary Engineering Report for a 298-acre drainage basin experiencing localized flooding located in south western Pinellas County generally bounded on the north by 54^th Avenue North, then east by Joe’s Creek on the south by 46^th Avenue North (with some areas south of 46^th Avenue, and on the west by Park Street.

The primary objective for this study was to provide alternative and recommendations for additional drainage conveyance improvements within existing County Right-of-Ways.  The analysis considered five design options with associated costs of the improvements.
